Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented IT istant to join our clients dynamic IT department. The successful candidate will ist the Head of IT with daytoday operations provide firstline support to their staff and monitor the effectiveness of the IT systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in IT within the banking sector.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a bank offering banking services to international corporate clients and is located in Sliema Malta.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Testing upgrading and maintaining IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Compliance reporting and doentation of IT systems.
- Conducting policy reviews and maintaining doentation for IT processes.
- Monitoring and controlling IT systems to ensure reliability and security.
- Providing IT support to management and staff for technical issues on all systems.
- isting the Head of IT in various tasks and projects as needed.
- Involved in acquisitions including liaising with suppliers to procure IT resources.
- Systems administration including user account management and access control.
- Ensuring proper doentation is kept and filed systematically.
- Collaborating with team members to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Supporting training initiatives for staff on IT tools and best practices.
EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND SS
- 1 2 years of experience in a similar role or an internship in IT support is a plus.
- Strong understanding of computer systems networks and troubleing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal ss.
- Must possess a very good sense of organization to maintain proper doentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detailoriented with strong problemsolving ss.
EDUCATION
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
WORKING TIME
Monday to Friday with flexibility in starting time from 06:30 till 09:00 40 hours per week with 1 hour break daily.
