Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ociate with 4 years of employment litigation experience to join our Labor & Employment managementside team in San Diego. The ideal candidate is a litigator with a strong academic background and a solid understanding of both state and federal employment laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of State and Federal fair employment laws wagehour laws FMLA and related legislation is required.
- Experience in case preparation for employment matters before state and federal agencies and courts.
- Independently handle key tasks including attending hearings drafting and responding to discovery and preparing motions for federal and state courts.
- Manage cases from inception through trial.
- Applicants should submit a cover letter resume law school transcript and a writing sample online.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in employment litigation.
- Strong academic credentials; graduated from a top 100 law school.
- Proficient in State and Federal employment laws wagehour laws and FMLA.
- Experience in preparing employment cases for state and federal agencies and courts.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Strong ss in attending hearings handling discovery drafting motions and trial preparation.
