Job Description
Role: AWS Engineer
Location: Philadelphia PA ( Hybrid work)
Description:
The AWS Engineer is a key technical role responsible for designing developing and maintaining applications on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. Leveraging their deep understanding of AWSs suite of services the AWS Engineer ensures that the companys cloudbased resources are secure efficient and meet the organizations needs.
Key Responsibilities may include:
Infrastructure Management: Set up manage and scale applications on AWS while ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
Design and Development: Design and build infrastructure on AWS utilizing its serviceoriented architecture. Develop scripts for automating client/server functions and to streamline operational processes in AWS.
Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security and compliance protocols for AWS environments. Ensure the cloud infrastructure aligns with the companys security standards.
Troubleing and Support: Provide technical support in all AWS environments and resolve any issues related to deployed AWS applications.
Optimization: Monitor yze and manage costs to optimize the usage of AWS resources.
Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support the deployment of microservices and serverless applications.
Python AWS Senior Consultant with Testing experience
- Uses GivenWhenThen or other test scenario doentation and turns it into manual scripts to execute test cases Creates validation processes that ensure results of tests match to expected results systematically Creates validation processes that compare values from VAST and NewT (AWS) to determine p/fail on comparisons
- Work with development teams to understand what team has built and what may be needed in order to execute a given test Familiar with testing of Batch and UI components
- Works with TA Ops and Product Owners to define test scenarios for End to End testing Creates doentation of scenarios / test cases in a manner that allows developers to create automated test cases.
- Coordinates test case creation with BSAs writing cases as needed.
- Executes test cases as needed.
- Creates requirements / capability traceability to demonstrate testing coverage. Monitors manual & automated text results and facilitates defect resolution with product teams.
- Coordinates testing dashboard creation and communicates testing status / results.
