Job Description

Sponsorship/Direction of Communication Corporate Strategy and CSR

Within the sponsorship unit of VHIR we are looking for a Fundraising Officer (solidarity initiatives inheritance and legacies support to researchers) to cover parental leave. The fundraising officer plays an essential role in providing support in raising funds through the management of solidarity initiatives promoted by families as well as companies patient ociations foundations individuals or other organisations. He/she is the contact and support person for researchers to guide them in matters related to fundraising according to the VHIR strategy as well as promote legacies as a means of raising funds. All in order to grow the income of the unit building loyalty of donors and maintaining the link with the researchers.


Education and qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelors Degree in marketing PR social sciences
  • Fluency in Catalan and Spanish
Desired:
  • Fundraising specific training
  • English (business level)

Experience and knowledge:
Required:
  • Experience in fundraising projects (Fundraising) and/or in marketing departments.
  • It will be positively essed:
    • Previous experience in the third sector
    • Experience in managing solidarity initiatives

Main responsibilities and duties:
  • Manage solidarity events in favor of Vall dHebron:
    • Answer emails and calls about solidarity actions explain the procedure and offer support to carry them out.
    • Enter the data of the promoters in the BBDD and monitor it.
    • Help the event promoters to make their action a reality and follow up on potential collaborators.
    • Coordinate the sending of support materials for each initiative.
    • Coordinate the closing of the actions: visits symbolic checks hand over gratitude activities...
    • Control the merchandising stock for solidarity events.
    • Manage the solidarity challenges platform (P2P).
  • Update monthly income indicators.
  • Support researchers:
    • Carry out the monitoring of collaboration agreements and donations aimed at research projects.
    • Manage donations aimed at research projects
    • Manage the research groups fundraising communication materials
  • Be the point of reference for the unit in inheritances and legacies:
    • Respond to emails and calls for information on Inheritances and Solidarity Legacies.
    • Coordinate the relationship with Testamento Solidario and the tasks that derive from it (testimonials campaign validation...)

Labour conditions:

  • Fulltime position: 40h/week.
  • Starting date: immediate
  • Gross annual salary: Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
  • Contract: Temporary (parental leave 5 months approx.)
