Farrell Flynne is a premier FFE (Furniture Fixtures and Equipment) procurement company specializing in collaborating with real estate developers on groundup and renovation projects across various et cles including multifamily & condo hospitality student housing and isted & senior living. We pride ourselves on our strong relationships with highquality manufacturers and an expansive network of sed craftsmen ensuring our clients design intentions are executed at the possible. We are a small team of three and while we value collaboration we also need someone who can handle responsibilities independently especially in the absence of our current bookkeeper.
We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our small dedicated team. The ideal candidate will take charge of our bookkeeping and accounting functions ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations. This role requires a selfstarter who can work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
Key responsibilities:
Manage bookkeeping and accounting functions including generating purchase orders and tying incoming invoices to ensure accuracy and cleanliness of financial records.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions prepare monthly profit and loss statements and maintain balance sheets.
Work closely with our thirdparty bookkeeping service for onboarding and ongoing support.
Coordinate with our CPAs for income tax preparation and compliance as well as sales tax compliance and reporting.
Collaborate with team members to resolve any accountingrelated questions or issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting preferably in a small business environment.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational ss.
Excellent communication ss in English.
Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
Strong problemsolving ss and a collaborative mindset.
Selfmotivation and proactiveness in identifying and addressing challenges.
Experience in handling a high volume of transactions and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Flexible and adaptable willing to learn and grow within a dynamic team.
Working hours:
The Bookkeeper/Accountant position requires a commitment of fulltime or parttime hours depending on the candidates experience and availability. Candidates are expected to be available during standard business hours ideally from 9 AM to 5 PM New York time (EST you may check the time difference via the link) to facilitate collaboration with the team and external partners. We understand the need for flexibility and are open to accommodating varied schedules especially for highly experienced candidates who can manage their responsibilities effectively in a parttime capacity.

Remote work. This position is remote allowing you to manage your time effectively while ensuring that all tasks and responsibilities are completed in a timely manner.
