Job Description
Position Name: Travel RN Critical Care Unit
Location: Marshall MI 49068
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Fulltime Travel Contract Temporary
Contract Length:13 weeksAccepting Local and Travel Candidates
Pay Rate: $2016 to $2052 weekly
Unit: CCU
Shift: 12 Hours; Nights 7p7.30a
Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed 3 shifts per week rotating weekend and holidays
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: 1 years Required
- Critical Care Nursing experience: Current 1 years Required
- Travel experience Highly preferred
- Cerner experience Highly preferred
Education License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent Required
- BSN or an equivalent Highly preferred
- RN License for State of MI Required
- BLS ACLS Certifications from AHA Required
Job Description:
- Provides and directs nursing care and evaluates outcomes in CCU units or similar.
- Demonstrates Clear oral expression; oral comprehension includes listening to and understanding others; speaking clearly such that others understand.
- Demonstrates deductive and inductive reasoning ss; ability to write clearly; use of technology such as EMR
- Demonstrates selective attention able to concentrate for protracted periods; time sharing able to shift back and forth successfully between two or more activities
- Manages IV tubing syringes and other equipment
- Demonstrates information ordering ss patterns of numbers pictures words and mathematical operations including medication calculation.
- Demonstrates ability to work with diverse patient and staff populations with sensitivity to cultural and spiritual influences impacting patient care.
- Efficiently manages time with minimal supervision.
- Critical Care Unit: 12 beds
- Nurse to patient ratio: 4:1 / 2:1 (Depending on acuity of the patients)
- EMR: Cerner
