Job Description
Operates electroneurodiagnostic equipment which measures and records electrical activity of the brain; isting in the ysis and diagnosis of disorders in the brain; for preparation of the patient and collection of historical information pertinent to the interpretation of the tests. The technician relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish their goals; Patients may include neonates infants children adolescents adults and geriatrics.

Weekend Requirements : For call only
On Call Requirements : Every other weekend Sat 10am2pm
- Performs Electroneurodiagnostic (EEG) exams and procedures in an EEG lab or intraoperative environment according to appropriate protocols providing ysis of disorders of the brain as required.
- Prepares patient for procedure; collects historical information pertinent to the interpretation of the tests.
- Prepares EEG equipment for procedure. Calibrates and adjusts equipment ensuring that it is operational prior to procedure.
- Maintains equipment in clean operating condition and notifies appropriate person/department of equipment problems
- Demonstrate understanding of concepts practices and procedures within the standards of practice for an EEG lab.
- Identifies opportunities for continuous improvements of processes and services on an ongoing basis.
- The employee is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the ss outlined in the appropriate position ss list.
- The employee is accountable to maintain s proficiency including improvement where deemed necessary and upgrading any additional or new s on the appropriate position ss list.
- Accepts other duties as igned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goal
Requirement description :
- 2 Years of EEG Experience Required
- Previous intraoperative EEG experience preferred
- EEG Certification Highly Preferred
- BLS (AHA or ARC) Required
- Work history
- Ss Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory References with dates employed listed
- If a candidate is not eligible to work in the USA it must be noted on their profile
- ALL RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal NMH may not honor RTO requests after submittal
