Position Overview: Responsible for evaluating implementing and supporting various platforms (hardware operating systems software and systems tools). Provide consultation and technical support for problem management integration and systems programming. Manage releases upgrades and changes while ensuring platform performance and availability through monitoring and tuning.

- Conduct root cause ysis for service interruptions and prevent recurring issues.
- Provide technical support to enterprise teams.
- Collaborate with business units (e.g. application groups DBAs) for platform configuration.
- Design and doent enterprise standards and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise and industry standards (systems management firewalls security etc.).
- Manage application migration across Windows OS platforms ().
- Install customize maintain test and trouble operating systems and hardware systems.
- Implement platform changes with minimal business impact.
- Monitor and tune platforms for optimal performance and availability.
- Provide onsite and oncall support (7x24x365 mainly during office hours).
- Coordinate with internal/external tech owners/service providers.
- Plan and implement software and hardware lifecycle management.
- Stay updated on industry and technology trends.
- Understand and doent technical/business requirements.
Required Technical Ss:
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server () IIS Microsoft Technology Stack (.NET MSSQL) Apache Tomcat.
- Familiarity with DFS SAN technologies (NetApp) Global Active Directory and BigIP F5 LTM Load Balancing.
- Understanding of multidata center environments MSSQL database structure and queries.
- Troubleing ss for network/firewall issues DNS and scripting (Powers Python).
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools (BigPanda Datadog AppDynamics) and DevOps practices.
- Experience with application development automation (TeamCity/TFS).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience (4 years in platform support) or an ociates degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
