Job Description
Job Title: HVAC Estimator Small projects
Location: Plainville CT
Duration: Full Time Permanent
Shift: 8 Hours a day 40 hours a week
Citizenship USC or Green Card Holder
About the Role:
This individual is responsible for all aspects of service projects with direct responsibility for project estimating and project profitability while leading a team or teams to accomplish specific objectives in a given time frame with available resources. The position requires extensive knowledge of the HVAC service/ Installation/ Controls/ Retrofit & Design Build Based Industry and will be responsible for developing additional sales opportunities from existing clients.
Job Qualifications: (MUST HAVE )
- Extensive knowledge of the HVAC service/ Installation/ Controls/ Retrofit & Design Build Based Industry
- Detail oriented excited confident and highly organized
- Ability to represent Client in a professional manner with customers vendors staff and the general public.
- Ability to complete work on time.
- Keep organized records on all work completed
- Must have valid drivers license and good driving record.
- Selfmotivated and able to handle rapidly changing priorities and several tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to respond to difficult situations with customer and coworkers with high level professionalism
- Must be able to communicate effectively with vendors and coworkers
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely completion of igned projects/ projects and estimates
- Communicates with customers & their representatives building owners subcontractors & field support staff on consistent basis.
- Examines and reviews estimates for accuracy and addresses discrepancies.
- Responsible for project profitability by monitoring and controlling expenses.
- Oversees equipment materials subcontractor and vendor orders recording receipts and approving payment.
- Responsible for change orders by recommending solutions
- Ensures that quality standards are maintained for all projects.
- Elished a professional relationship with customers.
- Keep database up to date to keep good project costing.
- Manages subcontractors and other igned project resources
- Addresses complaints and works with service manager.
