Job Description

  • Master Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain a master production schedule that balances customer orders with production capacity for both wooden and steel drums.
  • (MRP): Ensure that raw materials (e.g., wood, steel) are available to meet production requirements without overstocking or causing delays.
  • Capacity Planning: Monitor and plan the utilization of production resources (machinery, labor) to optimize output and minimize downtime.
  • Demand Planning: Collaborate with sales and order management to forecast future demand, ensuring production schedules align with market needs.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse management to maintain optimal stock levels of finished products and raw materials, minimizing overproduction and stockouts.
  • Prioritize production based on order urgency, customer requirements, and available resources to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in production that slow down manufacturing or cause delays in order fulfillment.
  • Ensure that all technical drawings, specifications, and production guidelines are accurate and up-to-date for both wooden and steel drum production.
  • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to optimize the design of drums for improved manufacturability, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
