Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a Physical Therapist istant (PTA) to provide services at a facility in Victoria Virginia. The ideal candidate will deliver direct patient care services under the direction of a Physical Therapist that will include; the implementation of treatment plans administration of theutic exercises and ongoing monitoring of patient progress.

Requirements:

Graduate of APTA program accredited by CAPTE

Active Virginia license

CPR Certification

Responsibilities:

Perform care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the facilitys policies and procedures.

Provide direct patient care services under the direction of a Physical Therapist.

ist the Physical Therapist in performing essments and complex treatment procedures.

Maintain doentation on all patients referred for services.

Complete reports or essments/evaluations and progress notes utilizing facilitys approved doentation forms.

Attend and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Complete all tasks within elished timelines provided by the facility.

Comply with all state requirements and facility policies and procedures.

Additional duties as igned by facility.
