We are looking for a talented Senior .Net Developer. This is for a permanent position. The work is hybrid in Quebec City with 2 days onsite per week.
Role and Responsibilities:
Perform the following activities in a development/redesign or system evolution context: Participate in proposing solutions that meet the ministrys requirements;
Develop or modify processing units in the required environments; Perform tests (unit functional integrated performance and load) of the solutions;
Handle production issues provide necessary fixes or solutions and follow up;
Perform data corrections as needed;
Conduct proper followup with business line collaborators; Determine if necessary the noncompliance of the raised issue; Work closely with support teams;
Participate in production release planning;
Have knowledge of Powers programming to produce infrastructure as code; Conduct diligent code quality reviews of peers;
Propose improvement initiatives to increase system efficiency.
Requirements
Have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in IT in system development maintenance or evolution with at least five (5) years as an ystprogrammer;
Have a minimum of five (5) years of handson experience with the "Visual Studio" development software suite as well as the .NET programming languages SQL ASP.NET MVC 5 JAVASCRIPT HTML5 CSS3 C# and other opensource technologies supported by the ministry for business solution development;
In the last five (5) years have completed at least one (1) project as an ystprogrammer lasting at least 440 persondays in a system development maintenance or evolution context.
Hold a bachelors degree in information technology (computer science software engineering or computer engineering);
Good communication in French
Ready to work 2 days onsite per week at ville de Qu bec.
