Job Description

One of our prestigious clients in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking to hire an Supervisor Environmental II I.


JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

The ideal candidate is responsible in ensuring that all activities in (including controlled areas of other sites) are executed in accordance with the Integrated Management System requirements and ist in facilitating ongoing regulatory compliance will all applicable legal contractual and regulatory requirements and obligations. This position will provide leadership mentoring training and coordination to Environmental Specialist Engineer and Inspector and ensuring the implementation of environmental regulation.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop elish and ensure effective and efficient implementation of Environmental regulation procedures and standards relating to Zones Activities.
  • Technical Guidance and Services
  • Provide comprehensive regulatory and technical expertise to develop and implement major environmental programs.
  • Develops strategies for managing complex or sensitive environmental issues related to specific zones operation business and corporate initiatives in all compliance and responsible environmental management areas pertinent to Zones Activities.
  • Provides environmental expertise guidance and support to zones to ist in maintaining regulatory compliance and achieving environmental objectives.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of implementation plan and followup support.
  • Sustainability & ESG report.
  • Fulfil the requirement of NCEC and MWAN Regulation to ensure the integrated management system is in place.
  • Fulfil the requirement of ISO14001 standards to ensure the integrated management system is in place.
  • Lead the risk essments and task reviews of key activities in the zones to identify and prevent probable environmental hazards leading to significant losses.


Education & Professional Qualifications (Certifications & Accreditations)

  • Bachelors degree in environmental planning Environmental Science Environmental Engineering Biological Science Environmental Management or Science).
  • Attained or working towards obtaining the NEBOSH Diploma in Environment.
  • Attained or working towards obtaining the international membership in Environment.

  • Thorough knowledge of local and international standards for Environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal ss.
  • Ability to manage and work with people.
  • Selfmotivated critical thinker tenacious and curious.
  • Ability to identify and fully understand the potential environmental compliance and remediation liabilities ociated with acquisition and divestitures with ability to quantify risks.
  • Excellent Leadership problem solving and ytical ss.
  • Strong teamwork collaboration and interpersonal ss.
  • Stakeholder Management.
  • Environmental Planning (Including Compliance Planning Strategy and ).
  • Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.

Experience

Minimum experience of 39 years in an Environmental filed in the following areas: permitting environmental regulatory compliance (air water soil waste) essment of environmental impact site investigations and field surveys source monitoring and monitoring of the ambient environment.
