Job Description
Job Description: RN Antepartum
Company: William W. Professional Staffing
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum patients in a hospital setting.
- Conduct thorough essments of patients’ physical and emotional health doenting changes and improvements.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor fetal wellbeing and report any concerns to the medical team promptly.
- Educate patients and their families about antepartum care potential complications and care plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records and doentation.
- Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to care planning.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Strong verbal and written communication ss.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities.
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in antepartum or maternalchild health nursing preferred.
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is an advantage.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to handle highpressure situations and make critical decisions.
