ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Supply Chain yst is responsible for managing inventory and purchasing for the finance and inventory departments. The Senior Supply Chain yst will report directly to the Director of Global Sourcing and will additionally provide support for all inventory control and data ysis responsibilities of the department. This is a hybrid opportunity with a salary budget between $90000$110000/year depending upon relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management data ysis and global operations experience. For further information please attach your resume.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Accurately manage ess and yze inventory levels as needed
- Prepare inventory reports and yze sales forecasts for accuracy
- Monitor and periodically update Slimstock system the ensure correctness of data
- Properly maintain stock to ensure control of excess inventory and demand for sales operations
- Support department efforts in optimizing logistics and inventory costs
- Accurately review supplier operational scorecards
- Monitor supplier quality and process any supplier damage claims as needed
- Other duties as igned
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in finance supply chain management or related field required
- 4 years of experience in inventory management/control required
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ss
- Prior experience in global import/export operations highly preferred
- Prior supply chain industry experience highly preferred
- Experience with SQL queries required
- Experience using Excel (mid to highlevel)
