Position: Lead Cable Install Technician / Crew Chief

Location: Colorado Springs CO
Start Date: 9/30
Number of Openings: 1
Pay Rate: $25.00 $35.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Employment Type: TemptoPerm (Contract)

Job Overview:
Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Cable Install Technician / Crew Chief to oversee lowvoltage installations at multiple locations in Colorado Springs. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in structured cabling for commercial or residential projects including fiber optics Cat 5/6 and coax. You will be responsible for leading a team of installers understanding plans and schematics and ensuring proper cable splicing terminations and punchdowns into electrical rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a crew of 2 lowerlevel installers.
- Oversee installations of fiber optics Cat 5/6 coax and access control systems.
- Splice terminate and punch down cables in electrical rooms (MCC rooms).
- Read and interpret plans prints and schematics.
- Ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently according to specifications.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in lowvoltage cabling and installations.
- Strong leadership ss and ability to manage a team.
- Experience with fiber optics Cat 5/6 coax and access control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and electrical plans.
- Knowledge of splicing terminating and working in MCC rooms.
