Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location:
Remote (PST Time Zones)
Salary Range:
up to 1200 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Bookkeeper to join a dynamic financial operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable accounts payable payroll processing and maintaining general ledger functions ensuring accurate financial records and collaborating closely with the CEO. You must be comfortable using Xero Google Sheets Google Docs QuickBooks Online and CRM tools such as Go High Level.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable:

  • Maintain records of client service fees and invoices
  • Issue and manage invoices (oneoff and recurring)
  • Process checks and make bank deposits
  • Record payments and reconcile sales records with the accounting system
  • Collections followup with clients and coordination with external collection agencies

Accounts Payable:

  • Receive and arrange vendor payments
  • Record invoices and expense transactions in Xero posting to proper accounts
  • Reconcile company credit card charges close and balance payables at monthend

Payroll Processing:

  • Process semimonthly payroll
  • Adjust payroll for compensation changes and leaves
  • Monitor leave accrual balances

General Ledger:

  • Perform monthly project profitability ysis
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation
  • Compile monthly financial statements for the CEO

Other Responsibilities:

  • ist with nonfinancial administrative tasks such as supporting the CEO client billing inquiries and projectrelated tasks

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping roles ideally within a digital agency
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets Xero QuickBooks and CRM tools
  • Strong communication ss and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fastpaced environment
