Sr. Software Developer: Integrations
Flxpoint is a small SaaS based company with pionate team members. Our HQ is located at Jacksonville Beach Florida and our team spans across several countries.
We are looking for candidates to contribute to a newly launched product that leverages many different types of 3rd Party Integrations. Applicable candidates should have experience working with these technologies and be able to meet the expectations below.
As a Sr. Developer on the Integrations Team you will:
- Strengthen our processes for How To Integrate successfully:
- Develop an exceptional understanding of current integration strategies
- Evaluate current strategies against various usecases to discover opportunities for improvement
- Help create concise doentation that enables others via defined strategies
- Build & Own 3rd Party Integrations:
- Become proficient in understanding docs and flows of external integrators.
- Excel at translating external flows into common internal approaches via technical design doents.
- Strive to incorporate all external flows into our common code frameworks.
- Champion Integration Doentation:
- Help doent external flows and how we accommodate them internally.
- Work with the team to develop doentation templates and guidelines for the team to track more granular integration details.
- ist with amending doentation as integrations change.
- Interface with External Integrators:
- Engage in discussion with technical resources from external integrators to develop appropriate integration strategies as needed.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- C1 English (Communicate clearly and articulate ideas in meetings with team in USA).
- Experience: 5 years of experience in Java development with a focus on system integration APIs and microservices.
- Strong handson experience with Java 11 Spring Framework (Spring Boot Spring Security) and Hibernate/JOOQ.
- Proven experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka.
- Experience with database technologies like PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Frontend technologies like Angular Vue etc.
- Good understanding of version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build tools (Maven Gradle) and containerization tools like Docker.
- Handson experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
- Knowledge of agile odologies such as Scrum.
