Job Description
Job Title: Xray Technician (Allied)
Location: Rochester New York 14617
Shift: MF 7:45a 4:15p 40hrs.
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Description:
- Perform Xray imaging procedures in accordance with elished protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Prepare patients for Xray exams explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain and operate Xray equipment ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
- Review and ess images for quality ensuring proper positioning and exposure.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging doentation.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations including radiation safety protocols.
- ist with scheduling and patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as an XRay Technician.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
- Previous experience in orthopedic imaging is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal ss.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Commitment to patient care and safety.
