Qualifications

Minimum

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering Data Science or a related field

Proven experience in data engineering particularly in a utility or energy sector environment

Strong expertise in OSIsoft PI including architecture system integration and data management

Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases as well as familiarity with common data science toolkits

Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools like Apache Airflow NiFi or similar

Excellent programming ss particularly in Python Java or Scala

Ability to work independently and to take accountability

Ability to be creative

Ability to communicate in a brief and to the point manner

Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and SQL

Desired

35 years of experience within any area of Electric Operations in the electric utility industry

23 years SAP experience in et and Work Management

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust data pipelines to integrate a variety of data sources including OSIsoft PI systems into a centralized ytics platform.

Develop maintain and optimize realtime data flows from digital substation systems ensuring high data quality and accessibility.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and execute data strategies that support digital substation objectives.

Create and manage databases and data storage solutions that are secure scalable and efficient.

Utilize advanced ytics and machine learning techniques to predict and solve complex operational challenges in the utility sector.

Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling to enhance substation et management and reliability.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and data governance practices.
