Job Description
Our company has a client in Cleveland OH that is seeking an Oracle Developer for an onsite hybrid contracttohire role.
Essential Functions:
Identify business and technical requirements for requested projects.
Perform feasibility and cost/benefit yses for proposed projects.
Perform complex programming ignments requiring an advanced aptitude of elished programming standards ods and best practices.
Design application and database components for development projects.
Perform ysis of business models logical specifications and/or customer requirements to design and build Internet solutions utilizing multiple technologies.
Mitigate significant risks ociated with projects which have a high technical complexity and/or involve significant challenges to the business.
Maintain and modify Accounts Receivable Credit Collection and Email Management applications make approved changes by amending application doentation developing detailed programming logic and coding changes.
Track issues and manage tasks with JIRA Maintain version control with GIT. Provide tier 2 oncall support for critical application problems and issues.
yze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of manager.
Participate in hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employment opportunity policy.
Application server maintenance tasks such as: software/hardware upgrades patching security configuration batch process maintenance and migration to new platforms.
Address internal audit concerns to address SarbanesOxley compliance. Working outside the standard office 7.5 hours workday may be required; oncall availability.
Required Ss : Education Requirements: o Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience. Knowledge and Experience: o 3 years of IT experience. o 3 years of experience developing OLTP database applications in Oracle 11g and UNIX/LINUX/Solaris environment within a multitier environment; building and formulating business requirements. Hands of experience in JIRA GitHub ControlM Micro Services / Bhoomi Services o 3 years of experience in development and performance tuning using Oracle Exadata. o Work with PL/SQL Types PL/SQL Collections SQL Loader PL/SQL Functions and Procedures XML Packages and Materialized view Triggers Complex SQL s and SQL Reports. o Work with PL/SQL techniques in LOBs Multilingual character conversion; Optimize the applications using Exadata Oracle Performance Tuning Techniques; develop Unit Testing ods for PL/SQL; develop UNIX scripts for batch processing and work with Oracle RAC clusters and Exadata systems; and Knowledge of Account Receivable system o Strong experience in handling large volume data movement and maintenance. o Hands of experience in JIRA GitHub ControlM Micro Services / Bhoomi Services Optional o Knowledgeable and willing to learn and work on JAVA and J2EE development Personal Attributes: o Strong and comprehensive verbal and written communications. o Responsive and alert to new learning opportunities growth and development of technical interpersonal and business ss; able to recognize and address areas needing improvement. o Motivated and competent to contribute appropriate time and effort to work needing attention. o Attentive to detail with focus on accurate and timely results. o Organized and able to prioritize tasks responding effectively to competing needs. o Attentive and reactive to customer needs and concerns. o Strong ytical and problemsolving abilities. o Strong customer service orientation.
