Project Details / Open Reason: Support existing IGEL OS 11 environment and lead the planning and of the upgrade to IGEL OS 12.
Required Ss:
- IGEL Certification
- Expertise in IGEL OS versions 10 11 and 12
- Experience with Imprivata integration for secure authentication and SSO
- Familiarity with thin clients and peripheral devices
- Strong knowledge of firmware upgrades and management
- Expertise in endpoint management and troubleing
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Provide expertlevel support for IGEL OS and related hardware (Dell/Wyse)
- Lead firmware upgrade initiatives for IGEL devices
- Manage and execute the upgrade from IGEL OS 11 to OS 12 ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Perform referral testing for peripheral devices such as credit card readers receipt pads and biometric devices
- Trouble and resolve IGELrelated issues in a virtual desktop environment (VDI)
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including IT security and support teams to ensure smooth operations
- Stay updated on industry best practices and security standards related to thin client environments
