Job Description:
The Physical Therapist istant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to help patients recover from injuries and illnesses regain movement and manage pain. PTAs ist in implementing treatment plans perform theutic exercises and educate patients on proper techniques for rehabilitation. They work in various healthcare settings such as hospitals rehabilitation centers clinics and private practices.
Responsibilities:
- ist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Guide patients in performing theutic exercises and activities.
- Apply modalities such as heat cold ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care techniques..
