Job Description
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Downhole Tools
Location: Houston TX (Onsite)
Exp: 5 8 years
Contract Role
Job Description:
- Experience with test fixture design testing of oil and gas tools
- Design and develop test fixtures for downhole tools ensuring compatibility with various testing protocols.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (engineering manufacturing and testing) to identify testing requirements.
- Create detailed designs prototypes and testing plans for test fixtures.
- Conduct structural and thermal ysis to validate design performance.
- Develop and maintain design doentation including CAD models drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (API ISO etc.) and company regulations.
- Trouble testing issues and optimize test fixture designs.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians in test fixture design and testing.
Work Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience of test fixture design testing of oil and gas tools
- Strong knowledge of industry standards regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for design and ysis.
- Excellent problemsolving and ytical ss.
- Effective communication and interpersonal ss.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
