The PLC Programmer is responsible for Supporting programming troubleing calibration project implementation and network Integration. Responsible for keeping the automated industrial control systems current. ist team members driving continual improvement to process to improve efficiency. SALARY:
- $80000 $90000/year depending on experience.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of industrial control systems and Programmable Logic Controller (PLCs).
- Install diagnose and repair electrical systems apparatus and electrical components of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Replace defective components and wiring and adjust mechanical parts.
- Effectively maintain programming hardware networking and communication; trouble determine causes of failure and perform corrective actions; oversee full industrial control system project implementation on both hardware and software problems.
- Support predictive and preventative maintenance program internal projects and plant systems upgrades ensuring compliance with Controls Change Management System.
- Trouble and calibrate the following properly and safely: control panels using relay logic; Camdriven switch boxes; heat and humidity control systems; process control valves; pneumatic control systems; hydraulic control systems; metal detection systems; inkjet coding systems electronic scaling systems electronic meters.
- Interface with and trouble the following motor control equipment properly and safely: motor starters run relays; Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs); Servo motors and controls.
- Interface with and trouble Allen Bradley and another plant PLCs including connecting to the PLC reading ladder logic programming diagnosing hardware and software problems.
- Follow elished programs policies and practices to produce safe quality products that meet regulatory and company requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 Years of experience as a PLC Technician / 3 years of experience as a PLC Programmer.
- Extensive knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent. ociates or Bachelors degree preferred.
- Strong leadership ss with excellent written and communication ss.
- Ability to work with vendors customers and employees. .
- Ability to effectively direct the activities of others including elishing expectations removing barriers and managing performance.
