Evolve Healthcare is hiring for an experienced Registered Nurse in Northridge CA CA area.

EMR : Cerner

13week ignment

Unit: ICU
# beds: 24 beds
Certs: BLS ACLS NIHSS required
Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
EMR: Cerner Power chart
Charge Nurse: yes they do not take a patient ignment
Nurse Aides: No
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holidays: Yes 1 major one minor for both winter and summer holidays
Scrub Color: Navy
Tele/Monitor Techs: 24 hardwire/8 hardwire overflow RNs must read and interpret strips they do not have a monitor tech
Drips: neosynephrine levophed vasopressin amiodarone dopamine dobutamine etc.
Vents: Yes
Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Intensivist in house 24/7
IV Team: No
RT 24/7: Yes
Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
Shifts: 12 hr shifts 060715
Floating: They will have to float to tele (1 to 4)
Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts on unit
Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Trauma MVC post cath post CABG(no travelers) sepsis resp failure No CRRT stents yes ballon pumps no cranis ventrics no travelers travelers must have experience with doing neuro essments ICP monitoring no must have trauma experience looking for general medical surgical ICU experience
Additional Notes: Must have 2 years of experience working in ICU prior travel experience is preferred.
