Job Description

Bilingual Customer Care Representative

Our client a leader in the Canadian insurance industry is seeking 20 Bilingual Customer Care Representatives to support their Retirement Services team. This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension or conversion to fulltime. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement requiring office presence on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Candidates may work from the Montr al office or the Halifax office.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary $24.08.
6month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.
Rotational schedule (EST): Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm.

Responsibilities:

Handle inbound calls from retirement plan members offering support on account details and web/app navigation.
Respond to complex customer queries providing accurate and complete information.
Process transactions and ist members with relevant forms.
Maintain uptodate knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the team to meet service targets including Average Handling Time (AHT) schedule adherence and quality urance metrics.
Ensure excellent customer service in all interactions and take a proactive approach to problemsolving.

What you will need to succeed:

Postsecondary education is preferred or equivalent work experience.
12 years of customer service or administrative experience.
Bilingual fluency in English and French (spoken and written) to support clients in both languages.
Experience working in an office or hybrid environment.
Familiarity with working in a KPIdriven environment.
Strong timemanagement and multitasking abilities.
Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of personalities.
Positive team player with excellent relationshipbuilding ss.
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Knowledge of Canadian retirement products (preferred but not required).
Understanding of financial services concepts (preferred).
