Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design: Design ERP system solutions that align with the organization s strategic goals and technical architecture standards.
- System Integration: Lead the integration of ERP systems with existing software platforms and databases.
- Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders including business users and IT teams to gather functional and technical requirements for ERP implementations.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with development teams to create and implement ERP modules ensuring they meet business needs and are scalable for future growth.
- Customization & Configuration: Define and configure ERP system modules according to specific organizational requirements including customization of workflows and reports.
- Performance Monitoring: Ensure optimal performance ility and security of the ERP system. Trouble and resolve any architectural challenges.
- Doentation: Create and maintain comprehensive doentation of system architecture configurations and changes.
- Project Leadership: Lead the ERP implementation process from a technical perspective ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and consultants to evaluate thirdparty ERP solutions and ensure they align with the organizations needs.
- User Training: Provide training and guidance to users and internal teams on the new systems and processes.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure ERP systems comply with regulatory requirements and are designed to mitigate risks.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Certification in ERP solutions (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics etc.) is highly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 57 years of experience in a solutions architecture role with a focus on ERP systems.
- Proven experience in the endtoend design and implementation of ERP systems in large organizations.
- Strong experience in system integration customization and deployment of ERP modules.
- Familiarity with business processes across multiple departments including finance supply chain HR etc.
Technical Ss:
- Expertise in ERP platforms such as SAP Oracle ERP Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles including microservices cloudbased solutions and API integration.
Matric and diploma / Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. EXPERIENCE (PRACTICAL ON-THEJOB EXPERIENCE) 3-5 years experience administering an ERP system. Experience with ERP Systems advantageous Experience in, report writers, SQL, workflow, and UML modelling advantageous. Must have experience managing projects, setting up, deployment of information systems. Experience in Microsoft 365 products and Business reporting Tools/Solutions will be advantageous KEY COMPETENCIES Knowledge (what must I know): Computer Literate Excel ERP systems Ss and Abilities (what must I be able to do / display) Have a good understanding of business processes and the doentation thereof. Excellent communication and interpersonal ss Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
