A manufacturing company is seeking to hire a Senior Staff Accountant. In this seat you will be responsible for managing all accounting transactions (AP AR GL entries resolving discrepancies) supporting the preparation of financial reports isting with month and yearend close supporting external audits and tax filings and isting with adhoc accounting projects. The ideal candidate has used Dynamics software and has relevant industry experience.
Duties
Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports
Manage and reconcile accounts receivable
Perform journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial data
Implement and maintain accounting systems such as QuickBooks and PeopleSoft
Ensure compliance with SOX regulations
Utilize LIHTC knowledge for tax credit projects
Apply accrual accounting principles to financial transactions
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
Proficiency in QuickBooks PeopleSoft and other accounting software
Strong understanding of financial concepts and technical accounting
Knowledge of corporate finance principles
Ability to yze complex financial information accurately
