Job Summary: The Tax ociate supports the tax department by isting with the preparation and filing of tax returns conducting research on tax issues and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role involves working closely with senior tax professionals and contributing to various taxrelated projects and tasks.
Responsibilities:
- ist in the preparation and filing of federal state and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Conduct research on tax laws regulations and guidelines to support tax planning and compliance.
- Review financial doents and records to ensure accuracy and completeness of tax filings.
- Prepare and yze taxrelated reports and doentation.
- ist in the resolution of tax issues and inquiries from tax authorities.
- Support the tax team with tax audits and internal reviews.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of changes in tax legislation and their implications.
- Provide administrative support to senior tax professionals including scheduling and doentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Basic understanding of tax regulations and accounting principles.
- Strong ytical and problemsolving ss.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial doentation.
- Good communication ss for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
