Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Junior Investment Banking yst to join our Banks & Depositories team. As part of our investment banking division you will support senior ysts and managers in executing financial transactions conducting industry research and yzing market trends within the banking and depositories sector. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain handson experience in investment banking while working with a dynamic team on highprofile transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- ist senior ysts in executing financial transactions including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) capital raising and advisory services within the banks and depositories sector.
- Conduct indepth financial ysis including financial modeling and valuation to support transaction and client presentations.
- Perform comprehensive industry research and yze market trends affecting banks and depositories presenting findings to senior team members.
- Prepare detailed company profiles and investment memoranda outlining strategic opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including legal compliance and marketing to ensure smooth transaction processes and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and industry developments affecting the banking sector.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or related field.
- Strong ytical ss with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication ss with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Detailoriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and financial databases (Bloomberg Capital IQ etc.).
- Prior internship or work experience in investment banking corporate finance or related fields is preferred but not required.
