Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Equity Research yst to join our team focusing on the Building & Construction Materials sector. As an Equity Research yst you will be responsible for conducting indepth ysis of companies within the sector gathering and interpreting data and providing actionable insights to support investment decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct fundamental ysis of companies within the Building & Construction Materials sector including financial statement ysis competitive positioning and industry trends.
- Perform quantitative ysis including financial modeling and valuation techniques to ess the investment potential of companies.
- Monitor and track relevant macroeconomic factors industry developments and regulatory changes affecting the sector.
- Prepare comprehensive research reports and investment recommendations for use by portfolio managers and institutional clients.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively through written reports presentations and discussions with internal teams and clients.
- Stay abreast of market developments and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape within the sector.
- Collaborate with other research ysts and portfolio managers to identify investment opportunities and develop investment strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting or a related field.
- Strong ytical and quantitative ss with the ability to perform financial modeling and valuation ysis.
- Excellent research ss with the ability to gather and yze data from multiple sources.
- Solid understanding of financial markets accounting principles and investment ysis techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication ss with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Prior internship or work experience in equity research investment banking or a related field is preferred but not required.
