• Nonbillable Hours: 16 hours
• OT/Holiday Markups: 1.25x Regular Rate
• Call Back Markup: 1.3x Regular Rate

Cytologists participate in specialized and complex technical tasks involved in the processing and screening of cytological specimens to detect evidence of cancer or other pathological conditions ensuring the efficient and accurate testing of patient specimens. Participate in specialized and complex technical tasks involved in screening slides of clinical specimens both gynecologic and nongynecologic for evidence of cancer or other pathological conditions according to departmental terminology and protocols including marking abnormalities rendering diagnoses and determining cases for quality control or subsequent review with pathologist; performs various Quality Control and Quality urance procedures to maintain compliance with internal and external regulations and protocols; perform rapid onsite evaluation (ROSE) using telepathology system in the collection processing and immediate essment of Fine Needle Aspirations.

• Experience with EBUS Procedures Required
• Experience with ION Procedures Preferred
