Job Overview:
Our client is looking for a driven individual with strong English communication skills both written and verbal. Ideally the candidate will have years of experience with sales expertise and some technical knowledge particularly in the textile paper packaging or printing industries. The role requires someone who can work autonomously is wellorganized and can manage their responsibilities effectively in a home office environment.
Requirements
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop sales strategies and strengthen the companys presence in Japan across various sectors.
Collaborate with the export department in Switzerland and the team in Hong Kong to promote sales and marketing efforts in line with the overall marketing strategy.
Provide support to existing customers while acquiring new clients in sectors such as printing bookbinding packaging and decoration for the watch and jewelry industries and related fields.
Promote products to brands design firms and advertising agencies.
Serve as a liaison between the product manager in Switzerland and local manufacturers to foster strong relationships.
Assist the product manager with projects product development research quality control and handling complaints by coordinating with local manufacturers.
Ensure clear communication and collaboration between local manufacturers and the product manager in Switzerland.
Ensure clients are optimizing offerings through close collaboration and assistance.
Meet and exceed sales targets by driving revenue growth through a combination of new customer acquisition and upselling to existing clients.
Profile Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in account or commercial management roles within the paper premium wrapping or related industries covering areas such as sales finance operations product or project management.
Extensive network of contacts and wellestablished relationships within the paper and packaging industry.
Proven track record of managing key accounts expanding business portfolios and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with executives colleagues and industry partners.
Regular visits to customers and suppliers in Japan around 34 days per week.
