Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Associate Biotech Analyst to join our team. This role involves analyzing biotech market trends conducting research on emerging technologies and providing actionable insights to support strategic decisionmaking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biotechnology excellent analytical skills and a passion for staying abreast of industry developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analysis on biotech companies products and technologies.
- Evaluate scientific literature and clinical trial data to assess the potential impact of new innovations.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed reports presentations and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to identify potential opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support project initiatives and strategic goals.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of the biotech industry including competitors and market dynamics.
- Support the development and of strategic plans and business development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Biotechnology Life Sciences or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g. Masters PhD) is a plus.
- 13 years of experience in biotech analysis research or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel R Python).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with biotech market analysis and competitive intelligence.
- Familiarity with clinical trial design and regulatory processes.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
