Weekend Requirements: Every 5th Weekend

OnCall Requirements: 1 Week Night Call Every 5th Weekend

A Surgical Technician functions under the direction of a professional Registered Nurse and or Physician to carry out patient care activities according to the mission and philosophy of the Nursing Department. The Surgical Technician is accountable for nursing care activities performed and is responsible directly to the Director of Surgical Services. Demonstrates competency in caring for patients of all levels and ages. Takes calls and responds promptly

• 3 years of experience Required
• Experience with Ortho Sports Medicine OB/GYN Ophthalmic and Urology Required
• Travel Experience Highly Preferred
• Skills Checklist Required
• 2 Supervisory References Required
• National Certification Highly Preferred
• BLS (AHA) Required
