Position: Content Writer Social Media
Location: Carlsbad CA 92008
Duration: 12 Months (Possible to convert to FTE based on performance and business need)

Work Type: Remote But should come to office when needed or if needed

How will you make an impact
- You will create content that resonates with our target biotech and biopharma audiences driving engagement and supporting our companys marketing and sales objectives.
- Achieving success will rely on your ability to produce compelling content that informs and motivates current and future customers to learn more about our offerings and take action.
What will you do
- Write Content: Develop copy for our website(s) email campaigns advertising (particularly digital/shortform content) merchandising and other marketing materials.
- Collaborate: Work with segment marketing leaders vertical marketing managers sales sales operations and other stakeholders to create highquality compelling content that supports marketing plans and campaigns.
- MultiPlatform Content: Produce content that can be used across various platforms (digital and offline) to engage the market drive prospects through the funnel and support successful sales processes.
- Submit intake documentation and follow processes for asset development and deployment.
- DataDriven Improvement: Use sales and customer feedback along with purchase & performance data to continually refine and improve the content produced.
- Thought Leadership: Propose and create sectorspecific thought leadership content to position the company as a leader in our chosen market sectors.
- Innovative Approaches: Experiment with different approaches to demandfocused content that drives leads and engagement.
- Stay Informed: Keep uptodate with the latest trends in biotech and biopharma sectors
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in content marketing or copywriting.
- Bachelors or masters degree in biological science preferred and/or experience working in biotechnology biopharma diagnostics or healthcare companies is highly desired
- Formal training and experience as a content writer or editor.
- Experience writing engaging copy for various platforms including social media websites and email campaigns is required
- Understanding of marketing concepts strategy and best practices across both digital and offline platforms is required.
- Experience producing indepth content for a drug development or diagnostics audience is required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strategic mindset.
- Resourceful creative and pragmatic approach to content creation.
- Strong storytelling ability with a background in biotech or biopharma sectors.
- Understanding of marketing processes the buyer journey and demand generation.
- Ability to influence and lead teams towards achieving common goals.
- Proficiency with utilization of generative AI for content creation is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative work style suited to working in highly matrixed and global organizations.
- Proven analytical skills; critical thinker.
- Highly organized and detailoriented capable of managing multiple priorities without missing deadlines.
