Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer
- Location: Lexington MA (Hybrid)
- Job Type: W2 Contract
Background/Need:
The Group is in search of an innovative and highly motivated senior software engineer. The Group focuses on driving analytics to take advantage of vast and rapidly expanding biological datasets to address national security needs. The Groups efforts include developing software architectures and systems bioinformatics tools and AI algorithms to further the nations efforts in chemical and biological defense biosecurity public and global health and warfighter performance. Our multidisciplinary team works on integrating data from molecular/genomic levels to physiological system scales while ensuring systems and data remain secure and private.
Must Have Qualifications:
Fullstack Software/Algorithm Development experience development from database through to and including user interface
Software Documentation
Backend Programming (SQL)
GIT/GITHUB/GITLAB
JavaScript development
Python development including boto3 flask restx fastapi sqlalchemy
REACT development
Experience developing for AWS including s3 IAM RDS EC2 system manager cloudwatch cloudformation ECR transfer family
MVC frameworks (Struts Spring MVC Play)
Software Architecture
Object Oriented Software Design and Development
In addition to the qualifications/skill noted the following is required:
Experienced fullstack developer with expertise in Python Javascript and database is crucial to the success of RAPIDS platform and related programs
Education & Experience: 20 Years of relevant work experience.
