Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop robust scalable and highperformance applications using Python.
- Write complex SQL queries and perform database programming with Oracle Exadata.
- Contribute to the full software development life cycle including design development documentation testing and deployment.
- Work within an Agile framework collaborating with project managers business analysts and other team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Engage in performance tuning and optimization of dataintensive applications.
- Implement performance profiling and memory optimization techniques.
- Ensure code quality with unit testing and mock frameworks.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the existing platform.
- Maintain and upgrade existing systems as per the business needs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
Requirements:
- 10 years of IT industry experience specifically within the Banking/Financial sector.
- 8 years of handson experience with Python development.
- 4 years of SQL programming experience preferably with Oracle Exadata databases.
- 2 years of experience in UNIX scripting.
- Familiarity with Quartz (Internal bank platform) is highly desirable.
- Proficient in SDLC processes and Agile methodologies.
- Proven expertise in performance profiling identifying and implementing performance improvements.
- Strong coding debugging and analytical skills.
- Experience in the implementation of largescale enterprise applications.
- An innovative thinker with a proven track record of implementing techbased solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
