Responsibilities:
- Supports of multiple simultaneous projects and initiatives.
- Assists with project designs timelines workplans implementation reporting and evaluation.
- Supports development writing and preparation of monthly and annual status reports as required by each grant.
- Supports preparation and delivery of educational presentations and meetings.
- Attends statewide outreach events to provide educational materials to community members.
- Maintains an awareness of workplans timelines and deadlines and provides support to ensure timely progress and deliverables.
- Attends Violence and Injury Prevention Program and grant specific weekly and monthly meetings.
- ACL Falls Prevention:
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to share fall prevention resources to the community.
- Work with contracted vendor to review progress of fall prevention workshops.
- Understand and adhere to ACL/ National Council on Aging guidelines when working with partners to implement interventions promote effective coordination collaboration and communication with other ACL funded partners working with adults age 65.
- Manage partnerships with nongrant funded community organizations in support of grant goals and outcomes.
- Attend project officer calls National Council on Aging webinars and submit quarterly data reports as specified in the grant requirements.
- Collaborate with RIDOHs Center for Public Health Communications to implement Fall Prevention Awareness Week (Sept.) and other communication products needed for the project.
- CDC Comprehensive Suicide Prevention:
- Coordinate with external vendors and healthcare partners to schedule Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM) trainings.
- Provide technical assistance to healthcare partners to ensure maximum attendance at CALM trainings.
- Attend CALM trainings to provide real time technical assistance to the trainer and attendees.
- Collaborate with an external partner to develop a mental health parity training and evaluation materials.
- Work with healthcare partners to promote mental health parity training opportunities to ensure maximum attendance.
- Identify organizations that employ and/or work with men 2564 years old interested in implementing Question Persuade Refer (QPR) trainings for their staff.
- Coordinate with interested organizations and trainers to schedule and implement QPR trainings at least quarterly.
- Attend statewide suicide prevention/behavioral health meetings including monthly Suicide Prevention Advisory Council (SPAC) meetings.
- Collaborate with the grant Epidemiologist/Evaluator and Communications Specialist to implement evaluation and communication activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of two years directly relevant experience required.
- Experience in the use of video/web conferencing through Teams preferred.
- Experience working in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint preferred.
