Job Description
A Surgical Technician functions under the direction of a professional Registered Nurse and or Physician to carry out patient care activities according to the mission and philosophy of the Nursing Department. The Surgical Technician is accountable for nursing care activities performed and responsible directly to the Director of Surgical Services. Demonstrates competency in caring for patients of all levels and ages. Takes call and responds in a timely manner
Requirement description :
- 3 Years of experience Required
- Experience with Ortho Sports Medicine OB/GYN Ophthalmic and Urology Required
- Travel Expereince Highly Preferred
- Skills Checklist Required
- 2 Supervisory References Required
- National Certification Highly Preferred
- BLS (AHA) Required
- Candidates perm address must be atleast 100 miles away from the facility
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- BLS (AHA)
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : Every 5th Weekend
On Call Requirements : 1 Week Night Call Every 5th Weekend
