13week assignment. 12hour shift / 36 hours per week. Shift time is. Must have a current WA License BLS ACLS PALS and NRP. Must be a team player and any RTO needs to be preapproved and added to the end of the contract. We are located close to the PNW beaches and the Olympic National Forrest. Please add any approved RTO to the end of the contractRegistered Respiratory Therapists are responsible for providing coordinating and directing individualized comprehensive respiratory care to all patients based upon assessment planning implementation and evaluation. ACCOUNTABILITYAccountable to: Cardiopulmonary Director. In the absence of the Director is responsible to the Lead RRT. Once oriented the RRT is expected to function with a minimum of supervision. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner Will maintain BLS ACLS NRP PALS certification Will practice within the scope of practice of a RCP. Prefer one year of current acute care experience; but may be a new graduate Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from floor to waist Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from wheelchair to bed level Ability to lift five (5) pounds over head Ability to pull fifty (50) pounds from stretcher to bed Ability to push one hundred fifty (150) pound loaded stretcher 300 feet Auditory ability to perform procedures and to take accurate blood pressures Vision adequate to observe patients and to perform charting procedures Ability to meet specific criteria for the Cardiopulmonary department
