Job Description

**Viable candidates willing to work and/or take call on any upcoming holidays will receive priority consideration**Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program. BLS required. CST preferred but not required. Candidate must possess a minimum of current or very recent 2 years of Vascular/CVOR (OpenHeart) experience. Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required. The Surg Tech is expected to float/assist in General Surgery when CVOR volumes are low. The Surg Tech will work 40 hours/week either five (5) 8hour shifts or four (4)10 hour shifts (schedule will be decided in interview) with weekend and weekday call & possible holiday call rotation. Surg Tech will take at least 23 days of call per week (dependent on staffing levels at the time). The weekend call starts at the time your shift ends on Friday and runs through Monday morning until 7a. There could be a possible holiday call rotation depending on how the holidays fall during the assignment.
