This position works in Big Sky Montana!Minimum Qualifications:Current Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)American Heart Association BLSExperience working in the prehospital setting including but not limited to: Ski Patrol Search & Rescue or EMSPreferred: Emergency Department Urgent Care or other acute care clinical experiencePreferred: Computer ability and knowledge of electronic health record operating systemsPreferred: Outpatient or Walkin Clinic experienceEssential Job Functions:Collects Comprehensive data pertinent to the patient s health or the situation (Assessment)Analyzes the assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues (Diagnosis)Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes (Plan of Care)Implements the identified plan of careEmploys strategies to promote health and a safe environmentSystematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practiceAttains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practiceEvaluates one s own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines relevant statutes rules and regulationsInteracts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleaguesCollaborates with patient family and others in the conduct of nursing practiceIntegrates ethical provisions in all areas of practiceIntegrates research findings into practice Provides leadership in the professional practice setting and the professionKnowledge Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrates sound judgement patience and maintains a professional demeanor at all timesAbility to work in a busy and stressful environmentCreativity problem analysis and decision makingAbility to work varied shiftsExercises tact discretion sensitivity and maintains confidentialitySelfdirected completes assignments accurately thoroughly and with minimal oversightStrong emotional intelligence interpersonal and teamwork skillsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to the job classification.
