About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dedicated BoardCertified or Board Eligible Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our clients growing practice. The role is based in Winchester VA and Woodstock VA with flexibility on how many days are spent at each location (approx. 30 minutes apart). Whether youre a new graduate or an experienced professional this is an excellent opportunity to work with a patientfirst practice that prioritizes quality care over profit. Fulltime and parttime options with flexible scheduling are available.

Your Mission:

• Manage a caseload starting at 15 patients per day with the goal of increasing to 3035 patients daily (patient care ophthalmology).
• Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care with the option to perform surgeries if desired (ophthalmic care surgery).
• Collaborate with a full support team including scribes receptionists and technicians (team collaboration).
• Engage in community outreach and education programs as needed (community engagement education).
• Maintain high standards for patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes (patient satisfaction clinical excellence).

Core Competencies:

• Comprehensive Ophthalmology: Ability to provide a full range of ophthalmic care including patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Team Collaboration: Working with support staff to ensure smooth efficient patient care.
• PatientCentered Care: A strong commitment to delivering highquality care in a growing retirement community.
• Surgical Skills (Optional): Ability to perform surgeries if desired with hospital privileges provided.

What You Bring:

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Ophthalmology.
• Experience is flexible open to both new graduates and those with extensive experience.
• Hospital privileges required if performing surgeries (support provided).
• Experience with Modernize Medicine (EMA) is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care.

Skills Required:

• Ophthalmology Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of ophthalmic care patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Teamwork & Leadership: Ability to collaborate with support staff and lead a patientcentered care approach.
• Surgical Skills: Optional but experience in performing surgeries is welcome.
• Patient Communication: Ability to engage with a retirement community and maintain patient satisfaction.

Certifications:

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility Required.

Education:

• Medical Degree Required
• Ophthalmology Residency Completed Required

Work Environment & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $220k to $250k annually plus performancebased bonuses.
• Health Insurance: 70% employerpaid 30% employeepaid (100% employee contribution for family coverage).
• 401(k) Retirement Plan: 3% employer match after 1 year of employment.
• Time Off: 1 week of sick leave 2 weeks of PTO and 1 week of CME.
• Malpractice Insurance: Provided through OMIC (tail insurance covered by the candidate before joining).
• Partnership Opportunity: Buyout option available for those interested in practice ownership.

Additional Requirements:

• Open to relocation and candidates within a 1hour commute of Winchester VA and Woodstock VA.
• Must be a United States citizen permanent resident or visa holder already residing in the U.S.
