Our client is seeking a highly organised and detailoriented Legal Secretary to join their prestigious global law firm. In this role you will provide essential secretarial and administrative support to a director and their team of associates within the Litigation Insurance department.
Key Responsibilities
- Diary Management: Keep the diary uptodate schedule meetings and resolve conflicts.
- Meeting Coordination: Arrange meeting logistics including rooms equipment and materials.
- Travel Coordination: Organize travel arrangements for directors.
- Document Production: Prepare and distribute documents and presentations ensuring quality and format adherence.
- Filing and Archiving: Manage filing and archiving of documents maintaining confidentiality and compliance with policies.
- Debt Management: Monitor debtors books handle invoicing and manage outstanding invoices.
- Time and Billing Support: Track and manage time address billing queries and ensure timely invoicing.
- Business Development Assistance: Help with presentations bid documents client contact lists and marketing materials.
- Office Management: Provide administrative support manage workload and address office maintenance issues.
- Client Liaison: Assist with client queries maintain professional communication and support the secretarial team.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12.
- A relevant secretarial qualification would be an advantage.
- Dictaphone typing Experience
- Minimum of 35 years legal secretarial; and
- Sound knowledge of MS Office (ie MS Word Excel & PowerPoint).
