Job Title: Patent Attorney Biotech or Molecular Biology
Location: Mc Lean VA
Duration: Full Time Permanent
Shift: 8 Hours a day 40 hours a week
Pay range: According to experience starting from $160K plus benefits

QUALIFICATIONS
- All candidates preferably have a Ph.D. degree in biotechnology cell or molecular biology bioengineering biochemistry or related field and technical experience in biotechnology molecular biology and/or biochemistry.
- Attorneys should have a JD from a top tier lawfirm and be admitted to one or more state bars and all candidates should be admitted to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
- Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of experience in a law firm or inhouse drafting patent applications and assisting with drafting of opinions as well as performing freedomtooperate patent searches and literature searches.
- The position will work with partners and senior associates of the firm specifically with regard to domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution freedomtooperate and patentability analyses researching and drafting legal opinions for clients and assisting with patent office litigation matters.
MUST HAVE

- Degree biotechnology cell or molecular biology bioengineering biochemistry or related field and technical experience in biotechnology molecular biology and/or biochemistry.
