Job Description

Job Title: C Developer
Location: California (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 23 months (with high potential for extension)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled C Developer with over 10 years of experience to join our team at Teradata FG. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and extending features within DuckDB focusing on database connectivity and scanner extension.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and extend C functionalities within DuckDB.
  • Create and maintain database connectivity solutions using C/C.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand requirements and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure highquality code through best practices and code reviews.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10 years as a C/C developer.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of DuckDB.
    • Proficiency in developing database connectivity solutions in C/C.
    • Familiarity with developing DuckDB scanner extensions is preferred.
Ideal Candidate:
  • A proactive problem solver with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
