Job Description

Job Description:
Looking for Manual EDI Tester for Pharmaceutical Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions ensuring data accuracy compliance with industry standards and optimal functionality of EDI processes. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to identify issues document test cases and ensure timely delivery of highquality EDI solutions.
Responsibilities:
Test Case Design and :
Develop comprehensive test cases based on business requirements industry standards (including HIPAA) and EDI transaction sets (e.g./271) to thoroughly evaluate system functionality.
Data Validation:
Manually review and validate EDI data within various formats (flat files XML) to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance with established data quality standards.
Defect Logging and Tracking:
Identify and document defects in a detailed manner using a bug tracking system including clear descriptions screenshots and replication steps.
Regression Testing:
Conduct regression testing to verify that new software updates do not negatively impact existing EDI functionalities.
Collaboration:
Work closely with developers business analysts and other QA team members to understand requirements troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution of defects.
Documentation:
Maintain clear and concise test documentation including test plans test cases and test reports.
Experience: Minimum 7years exp.
