Category Senior Officer Flowers - Gulf Overseas HR Consultancy

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Category Senior Officer to oversee and manage the Flowers category for our client in the retail industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing inventory and sales of floral products while maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring the highest quality of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Category Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance of the flowers category.
• Procurement: Source negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and consistent supply.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels ensuring fresh inventory and minimizing waste.
• Sales & Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote products drive sales and meet revenue targets.
• Quality Control: Ensure the quality of floral products is maintained from procurement to sale adhering to customer expectations.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends customer preferences and competitor strategies to drive category growth.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including sales logistics and marketing to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 35 years of experience in category management preferably in the floral or fresh produce industry.
• Strong understanding of floral products including different types of flowers seasonal varieties and care requirements.
• Proven ability to manage suppliers negotiate contracts and handle purchasing operations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and sales data.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high product quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.

Education:

Job Type: Fulltime

Pay: QAR10000.00 QAR15000.00 per month
